<p>1. You have to get your nutrition down pat. Most people think that the flab on their arms (or anywhere for that matter) can be solved by &#8220;turning it into muscle.&#8221;</p>
<p> This is not true folks. Fat does not turn into &#8220;anything&#8221;. It is used for energy. Period.</p> 
<h3>Muscle is muscle. Fat is fat (usually flab)</h3>
<p>You must use low-insulin nutrition like I recommend in all my books, including Fit Over 40, to lower your bodyfat. For ladies, the back-of-the-arm bodyfat is often the last bit to go.</p>
<p> But I promise &#8212; it will go. I can go for anyone. Marty Web and dozens of other ladies in Fit Over 40 prove that in living color&#8230; and they share how they did it.</p> 
<p>Low-insulin nutrition means eating more protein-rich foods, foods that are not processed, and plenty of tasty veggies. But it does not mean you cannot have your pizza and burgers here and there. I do every week and my bodyfat is low.</p>
<p> 2. You must train your triceps. The back of the arm is made of three muscles called the &#8220;triceps&#8221;. You have a long head, a medial head and a lateral head that form the triceps muscle group.</p> 
<p>If you cannot access a gym, you can do plain-old pushups to work all three heads of the triceps. Here&#8217;s a few tips. First, if you cannot do a pushup with your legs straight, start by doing them on your knees. Work up to straight-legged pushups.</p>
<p> Second, do one third of your reps with your hands facing away from your body, one third with your hands facing toward your body (fingers pointing toward you) and the final third with your hands in the &#8220;normal&#8221; pushup position, facing the same direction as your body. This will work the various heads nicely.</p>

However, with enough motivation, anything is possible. You need to be honest about how long it has been since you have exercised and how long you have been living an idle life.</p> 
<p> Never make the <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/archives/50">mistake</a> when you are first starting to <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/new/link/123/1">exercise</a> and attempt to do too much. This is a common downfall of many people and soon they find themselves giving up all together.</p> 
<p>Look at it this way, you did not get out of shape in a few days and nor can you get into shape in a very limited amount of time. Slow and steady is the right way to make sure you stick to your <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/new/link/123/1">exercise</a> and end up in the best shape that you possibly can.</p>
<p> When your body is used to being idle you cannot jump start it at once and expect it to be able to keep up with the new demands that you are <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/archives/40">placing</a> on it. If you give yourself a chance to adjust you will find that it makes all of the difference.</p> 
<p>One of the best things that you can do when starting an <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/new/link/123/1">exercise</a> program is to pick an activity that you actually will enjoy doing. There are many different forms of <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/new/link/123/1">exercise</a> and they do not all have to take place in a setting such as a gym.</p>
<h2> Another Good Idea for Exercise</h2> 
<p> Another good idea is to pick locations as close to your home as possible when you first begin working out. This will make it more likely that you will actually be able to make yourself go for your workout on a regular basis. When you have to travel a further distance to get your exercise in you may decide that it is just not worth the trouble.</p> 
<p>Always make sure that you have the right tools to do your chosen exercise with. Although you do not have to purchase top of the line goods, you want to make sure that you have what you need and that everything is in good working order.</p>
<p> For <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/archives/102">example,</a> if the activity of your choice is biking, you will of course need a bike, helmet, shoes and anything else to make your ride a comfortable one. If you opt for a walk, you will want shoes that can go a long distance and that are comfortable on your feet for extended periods of time.</p> 
<p>When you have your activity decided on and you know where your exercise will take place, you will want to create a schedule for yourself to exercise to. Having a schedule in place makes it far easier for you to stick to your fitness goals.</p>
<p> Ideally, you want to put in about thirty minutes of exercise five times a week at the least. This is a good place to start, as to begin with, you will not want to do more than thirty minutes at a time. In fact, if thirty minutes seems like too much for you to handle you can split that up into fifteen-minute sessions if you desire.</p> 
<p>Also, you do not have to do the same activity all of the time. To keep yourself from becoming bored, you can choose to do a few different activities.</p>
<p> Once you have created your schedule, do you&#8217;re very best to stick with it for at least a two-week span of time. Do not work yourself too hard when you are starting out, better to be slow and steady than fast and not continue on.</p> 
<p>You do however want to put effort into your workout. Breaking a sweat and feeling your heart rate rise to an age appropriate level is a very good thing. If you do notice pain while you are exercising, simply stop and check on what is ailing you.</p>
<h3> Exercise Summary</h3> 
<p> Once your two-week time has gone by, you can alter your exercise routine and make it slightly harder to keep your body challenged and to encourage weight loss. <p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-</p>
<p> Just a word of warning:</p> 
<p>I will be using the term &#8220;bodybuilder&#8221; or &#8220;bodybuilding&#8221; to refer to anyone who wants to build lean muscle and burn bodyfat in this article.</p>
<p> That means you.</p> 
<p>Yep&#8230; you are a &#8220;bodybuilder.&#8221; That does not mean you want to look like a monster on stage and pose in front of thousands of people wearing nothing but your undies.</p>
<p> That means you want more lean muscle and less bodyfat &#8212; that&#8217;s it.</p> 
<p>With that in mind, here&#8217;s something you have to know:</p>
<p> Bodybuilders do not &#8220;lift weights&#8221; &#8212; we &#8220;train&#8221; with weights.</p> 
<p>We use weights as a tool like a sculptor uses a hammer and chisel.</p>
<p> The object of the game is not to lift some heavy weight from Point A to Point B and back. That&#8217;s weight lifting. &#8220;Bodybuilding&#8221; is about making the muscle you want to change do all the work.</p> 
<p>Here&#8217;s two ways to do it:</p>
<p> 1. Lower the weight and focus: Most people are just concerned with the lift itself. &#8220;Get this weight off of me!&#8221; seems to be the unconscious mantra. This will not get the job done. In fact you may end up looking bulky rather than sleek&#8230; or just not change at all. Instead, lower the weight slightly, slow the pace down (especially on the descent of the movement) and picture the muscle in your mind doing ALL of the work. Literally put your mind in the muscle. You will be amazed at how different the same <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/new/link/123/1">exercise</a> feels with this degree of concentration,.</p> 
<p>2. Contract, hold, release: At the top of any movement, contract the muscle hard. Hold that contraction for a second or two, then release it and lower the weight slowly. This will not only cause faster muscle growth (that is a good thing) but also demand that you use less weight to get the job done. This means your joints &#8212; shoulders, knees, elbows &#8212; will last a lifetime. At 45 my joints are in perfect <a href="http://weightlossgalore.com/new/link/123/1">health</a>. Protect yours at all costs.</p>
<p> Just remember: You are not just lifting weights when you train for muscle shape and &#8220;tone&#8221; &#8212; you are a sculptor. Treat your tools and your body with that degree of care.</p>

<p>1. Capsaicin, the compound gives red chili pepper its heat, increased energy via heat expenditure by up to 23% after ingesting it at breakfast.</p>
<p> 2. Black Pepper increases body heat (thermogenesis) by bonding to TRPV1 receptors in the brain.</p>
